Why Pikwing exists

Most children's videos are made to hold attention at any cost. Faster cuts, louder hooks, brighter flashes. It works, and it leaves a two-year-old wound up rather than settled.

We started Pikwing to make the opposite. The songs are slow enough to sing along to. The stories end somewhere gentle. Nothing jumps out, nothing shouts. If your child falls asleep halfway through, we consider that a success rather than a failure.

Our own characters, our own songs

Nila, Kiki and the rest of the squad belong to Pikwing. Every melody and every lyric is written for us, which matters more than it sounds: it means a video you loved last month will not vanish over someone else's copyright claim, and the same friends turn up in Tamil, Telugu and Arabic exactly as they do in English.

Six languages, on purpose

Children in the Gulf and across South India grow up between languages. A child might speak Malayalam at home, hear Arabic outside and learn English at nursery. Rather than making one English channel and dubbing it as an afterthought, we build each language its own pair of channels — one for rhymes, one for stories — so nothing is buried in a playlist your child never reaches.

How a Pikwing video gets made

• Write. A topic with something to learn in it — a colour, a number, a habit — and lyrics short enough to remember.
• Compose. A bright, unhurried melody. Clear diction over clever production.
• Animate. The squad, drawn from our own character library so nobody changes face between shots.
• Check. Watched end to end at full volume before it goes anywhere near upload.

What we promise parents

• Every video is marked Made for Kids on YouTube.
• No jump scares, no sudden volume changes, no flashing sequences.
• No characters or music borrowed from anyone else.
• Nothing on this website tracks your child. There is no login and nothing to sign up for.
